I'm off to the Shelter Valley Folk Festival this weekend. My son and I have volunteered at this Labour Weekend festival, near Cobourg, Ontario, for the past 3 years -- serving food and listening to great roots, blues, folk, singer-songwriter types. Here's a list of this year's performers which include Sylvia Tyson and Quartette.

i've some good things about the festival
wish i could be there
but i'm finishing a room in the basement... it needs to be done by sunday as that's when one of our students is moving in
